The re-purposed shipping container single storey house design provides a low-cost holiday accommodation solution for a multi-generational family.

It includes a shared leisure zone for the entire family, together with quiet resting areas to meet the needs of the senior members of the family.
 
The design consists of two “co-joined” containers independently positioned on site to form the overall housing footprint.  
 
Private space is provided in one block whilst the social and service zones are within the second block. Both blocks are interconnected by an inside-outside dining room with a translucent roof and glazing sliding doors opening to a timber decking area.
